WHAT: University of Illinois Springfield School of Politics and International Affairs and the UIS Public Affairs Reporting Program will present a post-election panel discussion on “The Election is Over. Now What?”

WHERE: UIS Student Union Ballroom, 2251 Richard Wright Drive, Springfield
DETAILS: Join UIS in-person or via Zoom for a panel discussion about the midterm election with UIS political science faculty and an NPR Illinois journalist. This event is free and open to the public.
Panelists include UIS School of Politics and International Affairs associate professor John Transue and assistant professors Matthew Geras and Isabel Skinner. NPR Illinois state government and politics editor Hannah Meisel will also be part of the panel.
The moderators of the event will be current Public Affairs Reporting graduate students Erin Henkel and Camryn Cutinello. The host for the evening will be Magic Wade, a UIS political science professor and the incoming director of the School of Politics and International Affairs.
No reservation is required for the in-person event, however those interested in joining via Zoom should RSVP online.
